My students inside and outPosted by Rabbit (Richmond, United States) on 30 July 2009 in Art & Design. These are my students results. At first I was really disappointed & in a way I still am - I'm more just disappointed for my students. I know they were psyched about seeing the results, and well their pictures don't look like anything :( however from a different perspective - I find the results sorta fascinating. They are weird organic lifeforms. I feel like I'm a scientist looking at organisms under the microscope. So lets tell you a bit about my day yesterday - shall we. I went to bed late, couldn't sleep (too worried about class & work) then got up tired, tried to print out the results for my students - found my ink cartridges not working, found out what the problem was... then tried to fix that, looked down an realized my PJs were covered with ink. - Decided to hop into the shower with pjs on to wash the ink out. Luckily it worked, crisis averted. Then while taking my stuff out to the car, I drip fixer all down my pants - ran back in to change them - threw them into the shower to wash them off before the fixer fades them - - - UGH. Finally get going & get to school where I teach & can't find a parking space, because this is the week they are doing street cleaning. Parking is already bad enough as it is - then with that thrown in the mix it just makes it twice the pain. Then as I am 1/2 way through eating my lunch I notice that my once slice of bread has mold on it. Why is it always after you have started eating the sandwich that you notice these things? (srug) luckily my peach I had with me was DELICIOUS to make up for such a crap-taciular start of the day! I suppose it can only go uphill from this right! One legged grape stomper,
