Interesting. Is that a large arch in the distance? Whatever it is it looks cool.

@Laurie: There is a large arch in the distance. There are actually 2. The other one is to the left of the bigger arch and much further into the distance making it appear only about 1/6 th as tall as the bigger arch we see framed in the shot. This shot was exposed toward the sun which is the reason I think the arch appears to disappear.
It's great how you know a good distance and angle from a subject to achieve a well framed print with your creations. Myself, I'd be moving around looking through the SLR for this composition. Well done, and hey thanks for the PS tip the other day. Ghostly double exposures are best captured on film, in my opinion. I'll let you know when I post this image.

@24x36mm: Oh and I can not disagree - I also feel some of the best double exposures are captures on film.
There is always so often a strong sense of 'being there' in these p/h shots . . I guess it is is, in part, because we get to see the camera !

@Ronnie 2¢: You know - your right Ronnie, there is this odd sense of actually feeling like you are looking out of the camera yourself. Funny to think there is no viewfinder when I take my photos and yet most times I know how the photo will look (depending on how familiar I am with that particular pinhole camera)
