Tighten those strings

Posted by Rabbit (Richmond, United States) on 24 March 2009 in Art & Design.

Guess what you guys? you made it... Here is the piece before it goes into the kiln. This is a view from the top down to the bottom. I slip trailed the stings on (I couldn't grab a picture of that since I was under tight drying deadline from the lace drying really fast. I had to draw my dots on then hurry and connect them with this crisscross pattern you see in the photo.

I noticed today that I match my piece too. My shoes have the blue color of the lace and my apron has a pink ribbon with is the underneath color of the piece.

Today I will start the kiln and let it candle overnight. Then go in tomorrow & turn the knobs up one setting every hour for about 8 hours. A little time consuming, but exciting.

Take care,
rabbit
