Drawing Templates

Posted by Rabbit (Richmond, United States) on 11 March 2009 in Art & Design.

So here I am drawing templates. I made templates to cut out the lace that I was going to apply to my piece since I had to make it fit properly. I only had a small amount of lace to work with and it was just enough to fit the piece. However there was no room for error, so I wanted to make sure my measurements were correct before I cut the lace into piece that were too small or too big.

To put the lace onto my piece it took over 8 hours - that includes cutting and measuring the template. I had no idea it would take me so long to do this process, but in the end it paid off.

Its 6:30am and if I could get into the building at work earlier than 8:00 I would go to work. But instead I must wait and I don't feel that great so I'm going to lay down until its time to get ready to go.

Hoping rest will help,
