building the inside
Posted by Rabbit (Richmond, United States) on 2 March 2009 in Art & Design.
Now that the outside of my piece is stable, I will continue by building the inside. Here you can see a ledge I built so that I can place a floor (for lack of a better term) into it. This floor will hold the boobs you saw earlier last week.
Last night we had snow. Richmond, Virginia does not get that much snow and lets just say last night we had at least 4 years worth. The radio man said it was from 7 to 12 inches. Can I just say - WOW. I went outside in it last night & built a snowperson. Although it does not really look so much like a person, but more like a cross between a snowman figure & a ladybug. Or some kind of cute buggy beetle thing.
It is still snowing as I type this up and I don't think I will be driving to class this afternoon. I would if people here knew how to drive in this - but instead I'm sure I'll just get into a world of mess from silly Richmond people who don't have a clue how to slow down in this slush. Besides my car is low to the ground - I don't really feel like getting stuck either.
Happy snow days,
rabbit
