The diameter is too big

Here is a shot looking down into the 3ft tall piece. I noticed that the diameter is too big for my liking so my piece will be getting some of the FAT trimmed off. I plan on cutting big slits into it & then putting it back together. Hopefully that takes down the size.

Yesterday I woke up to see the ground was covered in snow! How exciting. It was just enough to make everything white but then quickly melt on the roads (thank goodness, you ever see these CRAZY Richmond VA people drive in snow) well they can't. And you know its not completely their fault, we hardly get snow, so they never get any practice driving in that kind of weather.
