Beaded Prayers

Today I thought I would talk about another artist and her work. This is a shot of The Beaded Prayers Project. This project was started by Sonya Clark. Each little beaded pouch has a written dream/prayer inside. This project was also exciting because I was able to participate in the last workshop and able to add my beaded prayer to the 5000 that are already showing.

I grabbed this shot in particular because there is a ceramic pouch haning up and I thought that was neat-o! Its the turtle one right after the purple sun beaded one. It was wonderful to be in a room filled with all kinds of hopes and dreams inside lovely beaded pouches. It was moving and powerful. It felt wonderful to participate & maybe my dream will also come true.
