Cutie & metal lace

So today I went to go do a crazy thing - called VOTE. The line was a little long but the worst part was - after waiting in that line, they said I wasn't registered for that area! UGH I changed that months ago & had my letter with me to PROVE it - bloody bastards i say - sorry for that outburst to any of you guys whom do not swear. Anyway it just BURNS my cookies - ya know. Ok enough of that.

Todays photo is one of my pieces that was accepted into the Double Exposure — Clay & Photography show. I sent in slides for 3 of my pieces and all 3 got in - How exciting!!! So that means I have to ship my pieces to CALIFORNIA. Oh jeez. That will cost a pretty penny. Ahhh the price of being an artist. I've got to find shows I can drive to - thats for sure.

But how could I pass up the opportunity to SHOW BOTH of the things I make at a more appropriate show? hummm? Well I couldn't.

I don't know about your state, but in NJ if there is a discrepancy then they are supposed to give you a provisional ballot and paperwork explaining what you should do. Call your local board of elections and find out what you can do.

This is the first election for my middle son. He is registered, got his sample ballot in the mail and hopefully will have no trouble voting. He turned 18 in June and registered back then. My oldest, who is 23, voted at 18 in his first election and his birthday is Oct. 22 so we were a little worried at the time that he wasn't going to be on the rolls back then but thankfully he was. Hopefully Russell will have no trouble when we go to vote. it will be a family affair. Our oldest had voted already absentee (Military).

WoW! Rabbit I am so impressed with this image and how you presented your work. It is exciting to hear that you will have your work out there in California with all of the other famous people. I really wish you good luck.

I was one of those early voters here in Florida. First time I ever waited in line to vote. It was worth it.
