Bright ORANGE Pumpkins
Posted by Rabbit (Richmond, United States) on 24 October 2008 in Art & Design.
A color PINHOLE photo O_o This was my 4th try at getting my Polaroid pinholes to expose correctly. I was closer - this was exposed for only 7 seconds. Looks like I have to close that shutter a little faster in that BRIGHT sun!
I really love doing the Polaroid pinholes (Now i have to stock up on the Polaroid film since they are going to stop making it) The color adds a new fun element to the pinholes for me. I think also being able to develop it almost immediately is also exciting.
The other day I was contacted by another pinhole artist who makes beautiful wooden pinhole cameras and he would like to trade one of his for one of mine :D - I think thats a splendid idea!
I would like to thank you guys/gals for your words the other day about my confession. It does help me deal with it more by admitting I have this problem.
Today I need to GLAZE my pottery pieces. One of the processes that most potters do not like to do. For me I do think it is a little difficult to glaze because It seams that you can see SO many flaws on the bisque pieces (bisque is the first firing). I think that can mentally discourage one from enjoying this process. I don't mind it as much as other potters tho. I actually like it & I have a NEW idea to experiment with the glaze colors.
Crazy Glazing,
