Rothbury blowout

Posted by Rabbit (Richmond, United States) on 5 September 2008 in Art & Design.

I figured we should reminisce. I wanted to go back to the days of Rothbury. A 4 day music vacation - great stuff. I think I exposed this one for 3 minutes (obviously tooooo long) I remember exposing it longer than normal because the sun was going down and there was a bit of shade overlapping it. So much for my brilliant compensation. Ugh. Well - Better luck at timing it next time.

So lets talk about yesterday - how I couldn't figure out why my black and white print outs of my photos kept coming out with a slightly red tone! EEEEEP - Not at all what I want - heck if anything I rather it come out with a slightly blue tone. What is this redish crap anyway. So I figure its just because this printer is a bit different and the black ink *you know is never really black anyway* I also discovered that printing in Greyscale gave me less of the redish - but still some. So I may be tweaking them all to the blue side - maybe I can make some kind of setting to use more cyan ink and less magenta. - what a pain. Why can't it just print plain ol black and white. Hate to see what the heck I would get if I actually wanted a color photo.
