Throw Your Hands Up and Dance

This is a can sculpture that was at the Rothbury festival. At first glance you can't tell what this HUGE sculpture is made of - all you can see when walking up upon it, is that it is glittery and colorful. As you walk closer and closer you realize its cans that have been slightly crushed (probably reflects more of the light *giving the glittery effect*)
This was one of the many shots I captured on my Saturday walk thought the Rothbury festival. It was a fun and adventurous walk with many people staring at me as I would stop and take a picture.
Yesterday mom had another operation. This time it was a lot quicker and I didn't feel so worried. Its still a big deal considering the operation was to remove cancer. Not the best thing you want to hear about having. None the less we can only hope it was caught early enough we can just nip this in the bud and not have to stress over it.
Then the next thing bout yesterday... Somehow I hurt my wrist. Not sure what I did and I don't think I hurt it at my moms. It seemed anytime I made a fist - like closing my hand to rinse out a sponge or wash my hands and grabbed the soap. My wrist started to hurt a little. Well it was only a little so I didn't really think much of it. So as the day went on and I did random things - open jars, picked up my backpack, holding a pot while cooking. I noticed the pain got a little worse and a little worse. Evetually, I realized I need to just wrap this up or its not going to get any better with me constantly using/moving it.
So as I think about this at home, I come to the conclusion I don't have an ace bandage. *sigh* so i ask my friend/neighbor could i borrow one from her (sure she has a million - she works in the medical profession) And she says yeah but she wont be home till 11:30. Humm - i know i will be passed out by then. So I tell her I'll meet up with her tomorrow. For my temporary fix last night I used a wide bright ORANGE ribbon. fashioned in that ACE BANDAGE style except to end it i have to tie the ribbon together. Thats cool, now i look more like i'm styli'n than hurt.
Obtaining so much style it hurts,
