Ereasing People

I had a hard time naming this shot. Most times i look at a picture and the title just shows up sorta like the thought bubble for an animated cartoon. This time - i must have renamed this sucker a half a dozen different titles.

This is a shot from the Rothbury Festival I went to just over a week ago. We were watching one of the performers so I set my camera up super close behind me (you had to be careful people don't really look where they are walking sometimes and they would just step on you *didn't wanna take that change with my camera*) i put it on cloth that was upon the ground and faced it toward the other people looking toward the stage. I don't remember if i thought about that this was toward the sun or not - I do love images toward the sun. The sunlight seems to cast strange sparkling reflections and a burst of rays that are so pretty. The people in this shot do look very mysterious. It seems they were sitting far away, but i know they were only a few feet behind me. I love that dream-like quality from pinhole pictures.

Today feels super wonderful out. Its nearly 7:00am and i'm getting ready to go for the first jog in about 2 weeks. (I was gone 1 week so does that really count?)

@tyan: it does look like that... like i wrapped the camera in saran wrap. Actually thats an interesting idea - may have to try that out.

I agree with you- the pin hole pictures you have are very dreamy/nightmarish- and even antique looking at times. At any rate, they're awesome, and I think you should post so many more! :)

I really like this Rabbit and keep studying the image. Like Laurie said Ghost images dancing and she is right. There is one with it's arms out like really doing some movement. It must have been great music even the ghosts were dancing. Also Tyan pointed out the saran wrap. I have heard of this being done over a lens for effect. As you may already know there is rose/pink colored saran wrap out there. I could see you doing that to match your hair.
I bought the pink once by mistake and never used it for food because it had too much of a plastic smell. Still have some left.
I also like how you see the side of the camera. Really enjoy your pinhole shots.
