Self Watering Flower

Posted by Rabbit (Richmond, United States) on 11 July 2008 in Art & Design.

This is one of the many pinhole shots i took while at the Rothbury festival. It was a unique fountain made with metal. The leaves were strategically placed so that the top of the flower (which was a watering can) i know its hard to see in this photo. *compensation for the bright light in the background without blowing out the entire picture was quite the challenge this weekend* This appeared to be a fountain, however it was not on at the time and i was guessing by the way there were lights placed in the ground around it that it was turned on at night and i bet it was quite a site to see. Especially if one were to partake in any recreational mind influences - ha this art piece would make me burst into laughter without it let alone if one were drinking or anything.

Today is very very mucky out. I've got some paperwork to fill out and then i'm going to work on a couple more of my pinhole cameras and get them ready with their lenses and what not.

I've made a couple of new ceramic tools from old art supplies. I happy with their results and can't wait to take them to class. Well its time for me to hit that paperwork and stop messing about.
