This is a photo of my camera taking a picture. Tomorrows pinhole shot you will be able to see what Mmm Candy seems to be so involved in looking at. The contras from this pinhole camera has been tricky. I think I need to go earlier in the day to take photos because I blew out some of the light and darks real bad. So that means the sun is a bit strong & longer exposure with clouds would be a better crisper photo (however try to set up some clouds when your on vacation - i better ask [t e r r o r k i t t e n] for help in that area he always seems to have good luck with the whole cloud thing when he goes off to Crete.
This was taken on Saturday during the Rothbury Festival. I found an odd sculpture that made me giggle so i couldn't resist trying to grab a shot of it. The sun was bright an hot & no matter how much sunscreen I had on it still managed to remind me that i have fair skin as my photo bag kept rubbing the tender skin which the sun had touched the day before.
So did i mention there were sculptures EVERYWHERE? It was like being in artist heaven. Everytime you turned around there was some other COOL thing to look at. They even made a dragon look like it was coming up and down out of the ground out of Tires. It was BRILLIANT - did i get a shot of that. no :( because the place was so big i didn't see it when i went on my hunt of interesting things to shoot with my pinhole camera. I seriously could have spent more than a whole day just shooting different things.
I have never had this happen before, but I took so many photos *and prob the heat didn't help* that i wore out the foam inside of my camera. No big deal, i can just cut another piece and glue it in.

Love to see M'Candy in action here ! The pic looks like you were out at night with a flashlight and just stumbled across her . . the forest light sculptures looked interesting on the Festival site.

@Ronnie 2¢: It sure does... look as if i captured this at night. This was another shot i grabbed with the camera phone. Interesting how my camera phone has this odd blur that makes the pictures almost seem as if they came from one of my pinhole cameras instead.
It sounds like it was a wonderful festival.
Mmm Candy looks sweet...I know it's a terrible pun but I couldn't resist, and it is also true!

@Scotfot: Thank you - my first passion is Ceramics. My second is photography. So I decided to try and combine both by making the camera out of clay. Each camera I make takes pictures just a little bit differently - as if each one has its own personality.
