This is a shot taken with my camera phone. I didn't have my other camera with me at the time when I took my pinhole camera into the venue to grab a couple of pinhole shots. So I decided to test out the quality of my phone while capturing a couple of moments in time with the lovely pinhole camera you see sitting off to the right.
In this photo there was an artist with little helpers placing down the leftovers of fruits upon the ground in different places. I'm not sure why, I was in the middle of taking photos and the process is a bit time consuming so I completly forgot to ask this lovely artist why. You can see the artist in the too too or is it tu tu? hummm anyway he - yes it was a HE was so full of life and character with his expressionistic way of dressing in a colorful tutu, black tights and fancy shirt - it made me giggle.
as i listen to the washing machine with its hypnotizing sound and machine parts running. I'm back after a 19 hour drive home. The drive by itself is only bout 13.5 hours. which we did on the way there. However, sunburn with exhaustion & heat made my companions and I extremely tired. We stopped about every 3 hours to either sleep or eat.
We are home though safe and sound.
Now i have to think where to begin? When we arrived Thursday late afternoon following in the long lines of cars (splendid entrance i say it only took about an 30 minutes to an hour to get through the line of cars and make into the camp grounds. Heck i think the longest part was actually finding a tent space. Which since this was the first festival we had NO idea where the heck anything was in relation to anything else. So we drove and drove around what felt like complete circles and finally we see a spot big enough for the GY-NOR-MUS tent one of us had *not mentioning any names you know who you are you HUGE TENT PERSON (blushing and giggling)* anyway we hurriedly set up our things. While waiting on other friends to arrive we sit for a bit in the tent and prepare our backpacks for the adventures inside the venue.
Well it was a LONG walk to each stage, but i must say well worth it. There was all kinds of eye candy through out the forest walk. Sculptures were everywhere some were interactive and some were just to look at. We listened and danced, danced and listened.
The people were really nice and most everyone was in a splendid mood. We were able to get free well water *which tasted great* it was cold and clean. YUM. Food was good from Smoothies to pancakes and Falafel Pitas *i really didn't expect much from the falafel pita but to my surprise it was FANTASTIC*.
4 whole days of sun, fun and surprises. I can only say our only disappointment was on Sunday when we went out to see a show for only about 2 hours and when we returned we realized that we had some of our valuables stolen from us :( its ok though we can only hope that they took our things to make them happy and they don't realize how sad it makes the people when there things go missing. I forgive them and can only hope in the future they will realize their mistakes and learn how much it hurts when someone steals.
Wonderful sweet music, rabbit

I did not notice the man in the tutu. I like the image. For some reason i thought it was made by one of your cool images.

@Rags: I was a bit surprised to see how interesting of a photo my little phone could take. I did do a nice vignette around it as i usually do with my photos from my digital cameras.
Great quality! What's the little thing in the corner down right? It's nice to read you've had a good time.

@the lightwriter: the little thing down in the corner is one of my latest pinhole cameras titled : Mmm candy
Very interesting image. I like the structure of the letters. I thought perhaps you took this with one of your pinhole cameras, of course I see the candy camera in lower right. I like the vignette in the image. Wonderful commentary, it was a long drive either way. You always have a way to look on the bright side. It is a shame things were stolen.

@Barbara: You know my friend said the same thing. I think the dreamy look of this camera phone photo probably comes from a smudg on the lens that I couldn't see in the bright sunlight of the day. Let alone how small the screen is for actually viewing a photo. I am pleased with the results though.
Oh gosh, you got robbed? I hope they didn't take anything too valuable. I look forward to seeing you tomorrow when the rabbit and the squirrel (me) will dance and twirl in the moonlight. btw, did that picture of us sitting around the tent develop properly?
