Question - Anyone tired of the orange background from most of my previous pictures of my clay work? Well, its ok if you're not tired of it - I was though. I was looking for some black material and came across these large squares with neatly hemmed edges. They looked like someone would have used them as cloth napkins. However none of them really matched. They sorta had the same pink, burgundy and white color scheem but that was about it. So I took them to class and started using them as my cloths to layout clay on and work. its much easier to use a cloth than to just work directly on the table. The table has streached canvas on it and that will leave a canvas patteren on your clay, which is ok if thats what you want, but most of the time you want a smooth surface. Its also eiser to move your work around on a cloth.
This is a picture of a squaty pinhole camera. I think he's super cute. The shutter cap is located on the top and the other "button" like think you see on the side is just a key (key meaning a place to line up the top and the bottom)
It a hot one outside today - jeez i'm sweatin just thinking about how hot it is outside 101 F with an index of 106 F.
Time to wash clothes, rabbit

Awwwww this is adorable! I hope the heat doesn't get you down too much. I've been trying to stay indoors as much as possible where there's air conditioning. :)

My first thought was 'This must be from an anthropological exhibit!' Did pottery actually change very much over the last couple of thousand years?

@Martin: Not really - pottery has remained relatively the same - we just use more modern tools and machines to help us get the end result.
Tiki hut? Makes me think of an oriental hat. It is magnificent Rabbit. Remarkable work. Nice to see how neat and clean you work. Wow I can't wait to see it after glazing and firing.. Keep up the good work.

This is the cutest little thing! And to think that the long process of creativity will extend right thru to making a print.

@Ronnie 2¢: Yup - I can't wait to finish setting up my dark room in my new place.
Nice work! It has something Far-Eastern. I like the utensils too and the cloth is a good change.
