Its glazed. A pretty blue. I am most happy bout this blue. Its a sweet little bowl good for soup - especially these last couple of days here were its been a bit chilly and damp.
Today I'm doing some freelance and then going to look up some more jobs. Its been slim pickin's. I also really need to straighten up this place it looks like a tornado hit it. Ahhh but that is the life of an artist.
Later today will be more glazing at the art building and then maybe i'll be back here to do some straightening up.
Wondering if i can trade pottery for a house-keeper, rabbit

Certainly a masterpiece, Rabbit. This piece really came out nice. The blue glaze with specks of gold is beautiful. I have much to learn with the glazing part. Tomorrow is last day for this session of class, my hand is still with a large bandage from recent surgery I will trim a piece and do some glazing, no wheel work. Good luck with the job search.

Is that spout a design feature or intended to be drunk from? The like the shade of blue you picked.
Good luck with the job search! Try something new if pickings are slim in your field.

Like Martin, I have visions of drinking soup from the bowl . . that little spout is ideal and no spoon to wash . . hurrah!

Oh it's beautiful! :) If I had a house, and enough money to get a housekeeper, I would definitely hire you. You could try craigslist? I love the background behind the pottery.

Beautiful bowl coloring so well on that tablecloth! I wonder what the function of the bulge is: to give support to a holding thumb or a spoon, or to facilitate pouring out?
