In the light is my spirit

ok my apologies for no word from me this morning. I was so tired when I got home from class. I had driven to Roanoke Rapids also to visit my mom in the hospital and then drove back so i could attend class. It takes me about 2 hours to drive to where my mom was in the hospital. So that was 4 hours on the road. I was super tired and couldn't wait to get home in the bed.

Ok, now we look at this shot. This was exposed for about 4 minutes as the sun was setting at the hospital. No not yesterday when i went. This was when i was first using my pinhole camera. The exposure is a bit dark. I was not as good at gaugeing a correct exposure time. However, after reviewing my book of old shot - I ended up coming across this negative. I sorta liked the more mysterious lights and darks of this one. This was taken into photo shop and I did boost up the tones a bit to help bring out the contrast so that the lighter areas were a lot more interesting.

I could even begin to see a ghost image of me in this shot. Do you see me. I'm actually in this one about 4 times. However, I can only see 2 of the places I was. I think the shaded ares did not take an exposure of me as well as the lit areas of the steps.

I nearly finished up making a pinhole camera today. All I need to so is put silicone on the shutter cap to make a nice snug fit. I will be taking pictures of the final product so don't fret - you'll see.
