Happy Mothers Day With Love and Care

This is my mom. She is holding a vase I just gave to her for Mother's Day. The title of the vase is: With Love and Care. I don't make many vases this size, I usually make tiny little vases. However, I was helping my friend SaraNoH with shaping her clay objects. She was having a hard time making this particular shape. So I figured I would make one at the same time and help her as she went along. SaraNoH caught on quick and became obsessed with the shape of the vase and continued to make this shape her WHOLE class session.

I understand the whole obsession part. Heck i'm still making cameras. I've also made a bunch of mugs (especially for e.) and a couple of bowls (especially for lightwriter) so my collection of pottery is building back up and I will soon be posting new work on etsy.
