Dreadfully underexposed ducky - this shot is from my pinhole camera Little Wings - it was exposed for 2 minutes in the 5 or 6 o'clock sun. This was one of the last things still lit up as the sun was getting ready to hide behind some trees. I was just getting used to this camera and was not sure how long to expose a shot from the setting sun. Now i know i should have exposed this at least 5 or 6 minutes.
I decided on this shot because its Mother's Day this Sunday and this shot reminds me of my mom. When i was a little girl my family had ducks, chickens, guinnes, quail and geese. My moms favorites were the ducks. We would go out and feed them old loaves of bread, and most of the ducks would come and eat out of your hands. I even had a little pet ducky that i raised in my bedroom - he wore a handmade diaper when i walked him about the house. He was quite the cutie pie and loved me very much.
So cheers to memories of love and laughter with our Moms, rabbit

Thanks for reminding me to Mother's Day. I find the picture overwhelming, also dream-like.

you're either laying in the grass, or that's one big duck!

@Lilly: its a BIG DUCK - hurry run for your lives!
This was taken with my pinhole camera, This duck was on some kind of platform and i stuck the camera nearby on the same platform.
That's a heartwarming narrative and I guess most of us are lucky enough to hold happy memories of simpler times like that. And, yes, the duck looks huge!
