Shaping the cylinder

There was a light rain this morning, I notice i can hear the sound of the cars go by with that extra swoosh sound that wet roads make when traveled upon.

Today is my last day at my current job. I have been there for SEVEN yes - seven years... They closed down the smaller newspaper offices where i work at. So that means i have been laid-off. We are all going out for lunch on the company and our boss told us to have a GREAT lunch. Ha i laugh at the thought its sorta like your last good meal on death row.

Even tho i must now find a new job, I shall not fret though, (at least not yet) I shall instead take this as opportunity to seek out something new. Maybe something that is not even in the field of Graphic Design *dare i say such words* Well its true I have other interest (of course we all know how much i LOVE ceramics) however getting a job doing ceramics? hummm I will be a starving artist. I shall look for any and everything that interest me. I like mechanical things as well as programming - i must say i'm a bit rusty on my programming skillzzz though. I wouldn't feel comfortable applying for that kind of job in less i went back to school for a refresher class or two. AND that may very well be what happens. So we shall see what the future holds for me.
