Yesterday it rained - then it was sunny for a bout 30mins then it poured then stopped then started raining again. It was nice to hear the rain, i was glad not to drive many places in it. Sometimes i don't mind driving in the rain. However my experience with Richmond City drivers has been - its much better to stay home.
Today i woke up also to the sound of the rain. Makes me want to work on an art piece i've had in mind for many years now. However i have no place to display such a work - so it will just have to stay in my memory until such opportunity arises.
The image you see here is what i call a spring box. The reason I call these pieces spring boxes is because the top you see was cut off of the wheel with a spring and it makes a really cool design. Here it is sitting on some clay that I rolled out so that i can attach a bottom to this. Then it gets cut in half and taa-daa you have a box.

Hmmmm , I am trying to think of a cool name for this piece to offer my 2 cents on the subject .... maybe "promises made" ( not that you need any assistance , lol ) Keep the rain down there with you I am tired of the rain , it feels like it has rained in Pa for the past two years if ya ask me :o(

If I understand you well, this is a cylindre-shape box, and I look upon the removable lid? As a picture, I find it a great abstract!

Hi you!! Glaze it!! This is a beauty because it's simplicity. How about this one in B&W with a bit higher contrast? i love these skin-and flesh tones too.
