This is right outside one of the locations i work at. It was a super bright sunny day (perfect weather for testing pinhole shots) Which is exactly what my dear friend Sara and i were doing.
This was capture was taken by Show Me That Smile Again and exposed for 50 seconds. She took a similar capture and hers was a lot darker and it had very odd swoosh marks going across the image. Which i then guessed that the cap that is spray painted is letting light leak in... We should prob hold the whole camera up to the sun and look down in it & see if the cap is the only light leak. *Her pinhole camera was made from an oatmeal container*
I have off work today - but not really in celebration or anything. Nope instead i have a dr appointment. Unfortunatly it was scheduled right in the MIDDLE of the day and its about an hour away from where i work. So it was not practical for me to go to work. Thats ok it give me another day to go to school and do some ceramics.
Feeling nervous, rabbit

I find this one of your best pinholes. In general not much can be commented on pinholes, you have to appreciate and enjoy them, they are so.... spiritual. This one gives an impression of strength and endurance, of basic elements. Needed for trustworthy and reliable functioning. Their symbolic and spiritual meaning is enhanced by the blurry character of pinhole pictures, which diminishes superfluous details. Now I realize I've been commenting much again, Oh God teach me to keep my mouth shut until I know... etc. BTW the "gun" on the ship is a radar antenna needed in mist and darkness. I found it an element in the picture that stressed the forwardly striving, almost threatening character of the huge black machine that the ship is in this delicate river landscape (riverscape?). I just have been commenting, now I close off the pc on my office desk, it's 1 PM and I have the car today (convenience!!) to drive home. Have a nice weekend and thank you to be the first to comment on my beautiful ship photo :), I'm the first with yours, too and so we have more things in common than we think (I can continue this way for another A4 but now I stop).

Illuci used the word ‘spiritual’, above, and that is a good pinhole term, I think. Certainly, the quality of the shot here is amazing, too.
