the artist pallet

this is a bowl that is in the making. I was not sure what ideas i had for it and this one came to me - simple but with an artist painting pallet feel. You know the ones you put your thumb into that hold all your little daubs of paint.

I may make a series of these, but for now this is the only one. The one that is going to START them all. Hopefully this will turn out just dandy - unlike some of my pieces from the other day - - - - NOT due to anything i did, they were all overfired in the kiln and basicly ruined them :( so now i have to go back and create them again.

I'll take pictures of the ruins - my best guess to use them as small flower pots for some. ONE of them i will be to heart broken i think to use as a flower pot because it was suppose to be something else far more cool than that. - its ok tho i will try to be inspired enough to make another one.
