My apologies for the quality or i should say LACK of quality of this photo. I did not realize it had so much noise till i was uploading it :-/
So now to just talk about what is more important :D the clay pieces. These are 2 anamorphic cameras. I found this guy named Matt on flickr who explains what happens when an anamorphic camera takes a picture and a diagram of an anamorphic camera.
In my picture you are looking down onto the tops of the cameras. The little button shaped things in the center are the shutter caps. One has a spider on it the other is sorta a flower shape (it was made from using a fancy button the same way i made this one from a hair clip) Then as you notice on the sides of the camera are 4 handles. I was brain storming after i made the cylinder shape of ways to be able to lean the camera on its side. But since the camera is round i didn't want it to move at all or that creates a fuzzy image, expecially considering the exposure time for a piece of photographic paper is 45 seconds in bright sunlight. Yeah - that means i needed some way to keep this camera completly still. So i put 4 handles on each one - now i can tilt them in 4 directions. I was thinking i would only put on 2 handles but then just decided to go for the more symetrial view. Maybe the next one will have a asymetrial handles.
Yesterday, i finished up my taxes! I get a whole 13 bucks back from federal and 42 back from state :)) now i have to print them and send them off. Since i've not hooked up my printer yet :( for lack of having a bigger desk and still in the straightening up process i decided to make a pdf and just print them at a friends house)
Wondering what i should wear (holding up 2 different shirts), rabbit

I like this shot. It is interesting and engaging. Even postage stamp size in the "Community window" it made me click on it. I suppose it will only improve with your corrections. The fact that they are cameras is intriguing as well. Are they pinhole types? What are you using for film? Is loading a problem or is it just a straightforward thing you do in total darkness? Great shot, intriguing concept and idea.

@Henry: Yes they are pinhole cameras... The shutter is at the top of these which makes them anamorphic pinhole cameras. The film i use right now is just photographic paper - thats why the exposures are so long 45 seconds for a bright sunny day. I have already made other pinhole cameras out of clay - you can see them here.
wear the red one!LOL.i like this shot actually, the tones and how creative that you used the hairclip to make the click button!

I think it is cool , I like the monochrome tone this shot has as well as the over head view which makes me wonder what the rest of it looks like .
I have noticed more noise in some of my pictures too , they probably want us all to kick out the 45 bucks for the A+ membership so that we have less compression in our shots ... just my cynical side coming out ... LOL :o)

Howdydowdy R. Can't you just email your tax form? Congrats with your $55,-. Amazing how you figure out these cameras. Great!

@the lightwriter: e-mailing it or the real name for it is (e-file) cost an extra 15 dollars!!! i only get 13 so i would then owe 2 bucks.. no i'll just pay 41¢ for the stamp or 82¢ for both stamps since i have to send off 2 different tax forms.
very interesting shot I love the detail of the spider

i love the little shuttercaps. you always put fancy design on them. i'd like this picture more if it has a plain colour background. the background seems to take the light away from the cameras.

Anamorphic camera? I'll have to check that one out. Could it be that you found a new hobby with hours of fun? The two cameras in your photo look like very early mortars used by artillery at the end of the middle ages. Now I'll go back to my income tax report..... :-)

I really like the shutter lid (button) on the left one. Ok, so the photo has a little noise but I like the angle showing your pots and the wood flooring for the background. Great color too.
