Remember the close-up of the mug on Monday? Here is more of the set. I really like what this artist did using the stamps and pressing so that they left more of a dent in the clay along with the stamped image.
Today so far is SUPER SUNNY! Maybe if i get off work early enough i'll take a pinhole shot! Although i do not have anyplace set up for a dark room :-/ my new place has a window in the bathroom - so its going to take a lot more work to get that room to be light tight. However i just had a brain storm involving a big piece of black cardboard or maybe even just black foam-board & then maybe putting weather stripping around the edges of it so that i could fit it exactly into the window space & just press it in when i need it - - - - humm *pondering that idea*

The little stamps make this set unique - without them they would be beautiful, too but the stamps make them gorgeous. They also have something "antique" (ancient, from excavations) and "modern" at the same time. Brilliant!

Hi R. Beautiful colour contrast,- and the mugs- i get a real old fashioned Pirate-feel. Like they are part of - or can show me the way to- a hidden treasure! (also because of the little skulls, but it's more than that. Making a window light-closed, shouldn't be not such a big job. Ponderon

I did notice the little stamp imprint on your earlier shot and, yes, it is great to see the deformation here. Reminds me a little of a potter here who accidentally dented a couple of teacups before firing and those were two I bought!

I really like how these were done too. They are so artistic. I like the glaze used and the stamps and how they made some indentation in the clay. Impressive.
