Ya know i'm not much for skulls... However, this is something that made me have a bit of a giggle/smile when i saw the cute little skull stamp someone made that had one BIG eye.
This is pottery work from the NCECA which i went to on the 19th to the 21st of this past Month. This mug shows how a simple stamp is all you need for decoration on your work. I think the handle is interesting on this piece as well with it being lower than where i usually put my handles. I sorta like it that way too.
It's raining here, i'm suppose to get a desk, small dresser and a little bookcase from my co-worker today. Sorta sucks that it decided to rain this week - not good for transporting furniture in an open bed truck, but i borrowed a tarp & its not raining hard out. Hopefully it will be ok - OR maybe she saw it was raining and decided that she would wait for a different day.
Realizing i still have my blue knit hat on, (now taking it off) rabbit

Make 1,000 copies of it and you'll get rich, this a real "wannahave", and also an ideal birthday-, wedding- or whatever gift!

I like this set too, but can't really decide why, but feel much of it's due to it's imperfection and uniqueness. Certainly not something everyone will have.

I am not much on skulls either but these are abstract enough you don't notice much. But I do like the unique 3 levels of elevated clay in the cups. It would be interesting to see the technique they used for that. Really appreciate you sharing some of the pieces you came across at NCECA. Thanks Rabbit.
