Adding Interest

My apologies for late posting.
I excitedly received a new 500GB backup hard drive yesterday and was formatting it. Well it took a bit (no pun intended) to do that and i didn't have time to get my photo ready. I had one, but i don't like to mess about the computer when its trying to do something else that is very important. Trying to make your computer do to many things at once can result in disaster. So i opted to let it format the hard drive and i thought i would just post this as work (shhhhhh don't tell). Actually i don't think they would mind, i do my work and don't piddle to much besides i would just count this as one of my 15minute non-smoking breaks. Since i never take one of those anyway.
Ok enough blabin on about a hard drive - as excited as i KNOW ALL of your are about it - i'm movin on.
This photo is a continuation of my mug/cup from the start of this week. From just a ball of centered clay to putting a design on it now while its still wet. I would love to have photos of me doing the inbetween steps and i'll try to grab a few sometime, but i need my remote for that & my little tri-pod to stand the camera on. Since i was in class making this i didn't have those things right off hand. Instead i had my little camera with me and some muddy hands of which i had to constantly wipe one clean to pick up the camera to grab a shot for your guys. I know the things i do for you. Why? Because i know how much YOU LOVE to see me working on ceramics.
So here in this photo i'm taking my found comb (thats been cleaned ***besides for the clay thats now on it***) and making a design by pressing it into the wet sides of this mug while the wheel is spinning. My hand may seem a bit fuzzy because i'm actually moving it up and down as the wheel spins this mug to make abstract swooshes.
Today is pretty out i hope i get to see some of the sunshine before it hides on me ---- oh yeah before i forget we have a lunar eclipse tonight in the Americas around 8:43pm is the start!
I'm excited bout the lunar eclipse,
