Pondering by the Pond

Cute, cold clouds float by
i stare off into the distance

sounds of the cars are behind me
sounds of the water are in front of me
sounds of the wind are all around
shifting the dry leaves on the ground
carrying them up & down in a swirling motion
much like a carnival ride
similar to how i feel inside
oh how i want to run and hide
from these feelings
from these thoughts
from this nothingness
i have caught

there i stand pondering by the pond
picking up my camera its time to move on.
