I feel like there is something missing in this photo. I like it and then i don't. I mean i think the railings look pretty cool, but its just feels like something is missing. Like it needs something on the pathway up the porch, like one of the many cats at my parents place.
The cats all started because of me, yes i was a cat LOVER! I could walk through a neighborhood and have all the kitties following me home. I adopted many a cat as well. Like there was a cat who belonged to a woman 2 houses down & he had a collar on that jingled eveytime he came up to see me. One day as shes walkin she sees me and says - So thats where my (says the real name of her cat) goes all the time. I said oh yeah Jingle bells likes me. - She said Jingle bells huh... i like it. i like your name better than mine. I think i'll start calling him that too.
Ah the days of having a cat, well now i can not have one. i have a sugar glider and well my little girl (the sugar glider) would be dinner or heck may just be a snack shes super small. i can curl her up in my closed hands. awww so no kitty cats for me right now.
Thinking how cute my little Jasper is, rabbit

simplicity is the force of this beautiful pinhole image. Are those your "flip-flops" at the end? With your feet in it? But the upper part of the models body disappeared!! I keep wondering about the behavior of the light onto the surface of the film. I understand, but i keep surprized. Your Sugar glider, do you keep it caged? Over here it is not a common pet.

@the lightwriter: The upper half of the body IS gone!!! That is because the SKY is brighter - having more light which exposes the film faster than the bottom. So that makes that part of the image sorta disappear.
My sugar glider is kept in a large cage but is also let out to play. She is only kept in the cage b/c she would try to eat many things like candy that would make her sick.
love the angle - it's like seeing it from the level of the cat - maybe that's where the cat is? :)

Kitty Cats are cute...fo' sho'...but Jasper...now she's super duper cute. I love that thing. Awww! Ummm...and your comment on my blog about digg'n...umm...yah, wow. Fantastic. But hey, I'm glad you dig my photo today. :) Maybe next time you should lay down on the porch with your feet towards the pinhole. Wow...your feet are already gigantic...imagine what they would look like on this thing? Impressive. Cheers to that!

Heheh, that's funny how the cats come to see you:) The photo, I like! Yes, it'll be interesting to see a cat or two there!

I think the strongest part of this shot is the curving wood in the foreground. Maybe it needs less. Have you tried cropping out the structures in the upper half to turn it into an abstract?

@Martin: ooooooo thats a good idea... i shall try it.
Wow, you have a sugar glider??? They are so cool!
I love cats too, well not all of them, I had one very nasty one that was with me for almost 20 years...she was a miserable nasty thing too. She refused to die to. Now I have the sweetest Siamese. My shadow. She is always very close by.
This is a stark composition, but I do see what you mean by it seems like it is missing something. I do like it though.

Hmmmmm, yes, can’t help but agree a cat or two would definitely complete this image. Jeff would definitely say so too, he loves cats :o) . Even so, yet another fantastic image, dear friend. VERY nice angle. :)

Love the distortion! We always had dogs when I was young, but I've known a few that I liked really well. These days, there's so many wild ones running around here they can be a nuisance. We have some apartments next door, and people go and leave them. So, with their breading it's really gotten out of hand. Too bad since animal control will eventually come by and set traps. People really should spade & neuter them here. Sad to know such cute things are neglected.

@Illuci: This is a sugar glider ;) they are cute sorta like flying squirrels. The male sugar gliders also bald like men do.
