This darling set now has a new home. I hope their new owners really enjoy them, i will actually miss them a bit. I liked this set alot i suppose because of the colors.
More people really like blue *or as least thats what i'm told* as far as pottery goes. More blue things sell, however i don't usually make a lot of my pieces blue. I like blue but i tend to like brown & oranges and the black oh yes the black is so rich & beautiful looking.
I don't think i have any funny stories to share with you today - however if i think of anything mid-day i'll be sure to note it in my head and let you know tomorrow - hows that? sound like a good deal?
Well i'm off to bed the pillow is calling my name something fierce, rabbit

I think a strong case can be made for earthy tones for pottery. Look at all the Greek and Roman ceramics! I don't think many people would turn their noses up at that.

Hi R. , nice colours. Have i seen these two before?

@the lightwriter: Yes! From more of a side view tho. Its a different picture i promise ;)
Beautiful composition and superb contrast of tones and textures. I especially love the delicate intricate pattern of the green fabric. Feels lovely and oriental to me! :)

So...I tried leaving you a comment at work, but noooooo it wouldn't work. Anyway, I'm a fan of red ceramics...even though these may not be red...I heart them. And yay for finding them a home. Nice. :)

@cabbagehead: They are pretty close to red. Its a rich cranberry color. Its very nice & i think even nicer than red! I think you would LOVE the color in person. Its more red than the shot glass i gave you. The glass i gave you i would consider burgundy.
Beautiful composition in this shot; the green fabric and its details go nicely with the red ceramic plates... (beautiful pottery too!) You are all shorts of creative, aren't ya?! Happy and prosperous 2008 to you!

Your bowls LOVE their new home and their new owner LOVES them too. These are a wonderful accent to my bland dining room buffet which definitely needed a kick! I much prefer the reds, browns and blacks in pottery too. Your pieces are beautiful and we promise to take good care of these bowls. Thanks to my brother for picking out just the right ones.
