Step into My Mind

Posted by Rabbit (Richmond, United States) on 13 December 2007 in People & Portrait.

This was a one minute exposure i stayed there 20 seconds (remember the conclusion i came to yesterday - the rule of the 1/3 of exposure time equals a nice ghost image)

I walked over to the newsroom today and looked over at their really nice long windows. i pause, thinking then turning about to go back to the Graphics Department (where i work by the way) so i go over there and get my pinhole camera i brought with me titled Show Me that Smile Again.

Returning to the newsroom with camera in hand i set it on the wide sill of the window. Its a bit too short so then i go into the ladies room *there are soooooo many goodies in there you would think it was a 5 star restaurant* So i grab a flat 2 inch wide lotion bottle and retrun to where my camera is. I set it on its side and then place the camera ontop <ahhh perfect i think in my head> Looking out the window down to the bus stop i then open the shutter and expose the film. I expose for only about 45s on this shot, since the sun is REALLY bright as if it were summer out. Speaking of which the conversation being held between two of the reporters is about the weather and how the one guy keeps responding with "i keep looking at my watch and it says that its December but it does not feel like it - Do you think my watch could be wrong?" *i image he is now looking up at the other reporter waiting for confirmation of this phenomenon* Closing the shutter - i pack up and go back to my Department.

A fine bright day,
