Staying Still on a Swing

So what is this i see? in the middle of the week? Its not Friday hummm - best check those calendars. Yes you are correct in thinking this is a pinhole shot! It is. This was exposed for 40s, the girl in the picture - her name is Courtney it was funny because she says... how long do i have to stay still. i told her well i only want you there 20 seconds. So i was thinking she would have been a bit more ghosty. However i have come to the conclustion that in order to get a good ghost image you need to be still in the capture for 1/3 of the exposure time. Example. 60s you need to be there 20s. Since this exposure was for 40s i should have only had her there about 13 or 14s.

The weather here has been interesting going up to 79 on Monday 58 yesterday and i think its going back up to the 70's Today. I've got to take some film with me and get a shot or two in Old Towne Petersburg. Its such a cool place & lots of interesting things to shoot from antique stores to cobblestone streets.

Shaking things up,
