Words will be here soon - i know i'll wake late... and maybe tell of my adventures.

so for the adventures of friday! i went, i saw, i conqured! well for those of you who may not know. I went to see Layo & Bushwacka on Friday in DC! Its about a 2 hour drive, but well worth it!

For this event we had to leave early! To possibly get in for free. We showed up went around to the special -guest list- side that apparently from the long line outside the front entrance, most people must NOT know about the -guest list- boy did i feel VIP! so we give our names & get our FREE tickets and go in. no waiting no paying, jeez can the go any better? well first thing when i walk in with my super cool (and yes they were BLACK LIGHT RESPONSIVE) britches was this girl walking up asking me about them - asking me WHERE on EARTH did i find THOSE?!! told her i made them *blush - giggle* she goes on... wow if i find some material would you make me a pair???!!! she asked.. (usually i don't do this, i don't like making clothes for other people, but for some reason this time i said yeah that sounds fine -i'll do it) gave her my number so she can ring me if she finds some cool material. *we'll see if she remembers me*

Well then i notice that the DJ named Nysus spinnin his stuff is pretty good. So i immedately start my dancing. It was not 2 songs later (really really liked this DJ i never heard of) i get out my 1st set of BRIGHT PINK RIBBONS -its actually the pink "tape" thats used by contractors to mark off electrial lines and stuff. i purchased it in the hardware store. anyway this pink ribbon is also black light sensitive. yeah - as if i need anything else glowing. If you didn't know, my pink hair ALSO glows under the black light. So basicly i'm just this NEON GLOWING GIRL.

I dance and dance in my own world with my ribbons and just have a great time. Then as we are about to leave i say why not stay for one more song. Nysus was playing again and he was really good. So as we are still sorta tired find a place to sit/deciding on going. (i think its bout 3 something close to 4am) the DJ starts playing our song! Our freaking favorite song... oh my goodness - what song is that. Its Yeah Yeah by Bodyrox D. Ramirez Mix. So of course we danced & then called it a night!

Good times,
rabbit

ok this is the part of the process of waxing the bottom before i glaze the piece. The wax repels the glaze so it does not stick to the kiln shelf. If you remember the piece on the right... its a continue of this altered bowl
