Here is an intimate look at a plate titled By the Seashore. Its my Pinky's Pink and the yellow color with the dots is Honey.
It rained today. Which is nice we need the rain so i can't really complain. Its better than trying to drive to work tomorrow in it. Which if i do it will mean that everyone will forget how to drive up 95 and there will be some issue that will take me an extra 20 minutes tacked onto my 35 minute drive. Ahhh well thats the life when you decided NOT to live in the city. I must admit rent and houses are cheaper where i live so i guess paying for extra gas isn't that big a deal. At least not yet.
I made white chocolate frangelico truffels today. Yum i can't wait to have breakfast tomorrow and with coffee i will have one! Oh JOY!
i know there go on about food again. I can't help it. Most of my functional pottery all gets used with food and then i just start thinking about what i want to eat or how it taste or what i haven't made in a while and BAM i'm back at food.
ok going to bed so i can sleep & then it will be time for breakfast & i get to try a truffle ;D rabbit

Simple & effective "minimal". I'll be back to browse your work more, thanks for sharing.

This looks like a false color astronomical image taken out of context like this. Macros are always interesting that way!

That's a beautiful plate. The smear of color shows the textures wonderfully. But you can't talk about truffles again without sharing. :P

I like this image; the tones and feel of it (it does indeed have a seashore mood, imho) are somehow very soothing and relaxing. Plus, chocolate is one of my favourite comfort foods, so this image is doubly evocative of sweet comfort as far as I’m concerned. :) AND Your white chocolate truffles sound absolutely DELISH!!! My mouth is watering already, just thinking about it. :O) I do think pottery and food have an intimate and beautiful connection indeed. And I love it. :)

This is what I call a universal picture! The circles remind of a pebble thrown in calm water, the spots of the way the billions of the stars are scattered in a belt in the Milky Way along the sky! As for the food obsession: why not make ashtrays :)?

@Illuci: well - i must say that would be completely opposite of food. However, i must admit i'm not much on promoting smoking. For the cigarette industry puts extra things into them which make them addictive. I do not appreciate any kind of company that would make something that is not good for you even worse by making it addictive. i've grown up with parents that smoke & have now seen what it does to them as they have become older. My dad can-not sleep the whole night thought because he starts to cough in his sleep & the only thing that suppresses the cough is to get up and have a cigarette. Makes me sad :( - - Although your idea of a chess set is still on my mind & that is not food ;D
Lovely abstract. I like the positioning and the colors.
