This is a bowl titled Yens. Yen is a strong desire so i believe this bowl has a strong desier to hold ice cream! Yes LOTS and LOTS of ice cream with blue berries and such. Yum. If you so yen for this dish ha ha i'm such a dork - you may check out more photos at the Spot the Pot Shop ;)
I should be back any minute now... yup just hold your horses guys and gals and i'll be over to see all the glorious photos i've missed & yes i did miss them. All of you guys really brighten my day when i'm all stressed or just worn out or heck even when i'm feeling great - your comments & photos make me feel that much better.

This bowl, is it your own creation and the photo as well? My home-made icecream from nougat, cream and a bit amaretto tastes and colours very nice in it.

@peter: Yes - i made the bowl and i took the picture. The bowl is made of white stoneware and was fired to cone 10 which is around 2345 degrees C depending on how fast you are firing your kiln. The colours are Temmoku (brown colour) and Majolica (white colour)

@tyan: The pretty green fabric is an Asian silk i received from a lady at work. She had about 6 yards of it... i'm not sure how many but i think its close to 5.4 meters..
