So in this capture we have a blueberry & cranberry martini made with the lovely Finlandia and a cheery. The green & smoky colored bowl there is named Sandy it has some crackers & cheese to complement my drink.
So i'm feeling a bit down an out. Yeah Thats ok - that just means i usually purchase something a bit pricey for myself. I'm not much on shopping (actually i loath it) and this pretty much includes ALL shopping for food, clothes, and random things home things. Its just such a bother. However when ever i'm feeling a bit down i tend to purchase something i've wanted for quite a while. That being said, i want to purchase a riding coat. No i don't ride horses, i mean i have and i think they are fine an all (a bit BIG to just hang out and stand beside) but thats not what i'm talking about now. Back to the coat. So yeah i wanted this coat - its called a riding coat because of the cut i suppose, however what it's made of i don't think i would wear it riding, i think the crushed velvet fabric would get ruined. So yeah i'm purchasing the darn coat finally after drooling over it for 3 years now. YES 3 years i've wanted to make this purchase its not terribly expensive its around hundred bucks with all the GREAT discounts i've found online ;)
So i figured i'd get it, if i try it on and i think i look silly or i don't like it. OR i'm over being all down & out i could just send it back. (which is funny - i go purchase a bunch of things from the store keep them a week & think what is my problem & then just take it all back)

i hope you are feeling better after drinking and buying things you like.I remember downing wine when i was hurt deeply in a relationship many years back,and buying things when i feel stressed. take care dear!Hopefully tomor turns out better..

Ummm...I need to see this Riding Coat. Crazy Lady. I purchased a coat last night myself. I needed something a little heavy for winter...yah know? I like it. It's no velvet riding coat...but hey...whatever. I like your drink, it looks very very tasty. Make me one. Oh...by the way, I had 2 shots of Jager the other day, and I literally got drunk in 5 minutes. What is that?! Lite weight.

@cabbagehead: this is the coat that a VERY TALL woman is wearing. I imagine it will be down to me toes when i wear it.

This is a beautiful photograph. I love the rich tones.
I hope you feel uplifted when you get your coat. Sometimes a little indulgence is all it takes to lift the spirits. I am very much the same. I really dislike shopping and will go out of my way to avoid it, but put a camera store or photography catalog in my path and it's all over!

@Illuci: I am laughing - your comment is soooo cute & funny. Well - to meet at your office lets see i know the flight over to london for me was 2 hours to New York then 6 hours to London. When i went to Amsterdam i went by ferry that took - - ya know i don't know how long that took, i think 4 or 6 hours. It was a very cool trip on the ferry because it had slot machines, games, a banquet of food, a bar, and lots of other things i can't even remember.
