I think todays image is my Favorite of my Pinhole images. i think it could be partly because one of my favorite subjects to see in photographs are shoes. This was exposed for 50 seconds out in the nice BRIGHT sun. There was a little breeze going and that is why my dress is not in focus. The distortion on the rocks below is because when i cut my pieces of photographic paper this one was just a bit big so without knowing i pushed on the top to make it nice and snug which bent the top of the paper (which ends up being the bottom of the image). Images exposed with a pinhole camera are upside-down inside the camera.
Yesterday i ended up working on my triangle pinhole camera. Yup thats right i'm making some triangle contraption - i'm not a pro at handbuilding so i find that i am a bit slow. As i was working i didn't even think to take a picture or two. So since i still have to make the lid & i'll snap off a couple of pics while doing that so you can see the process of hand building.
i'm glad you enjoyed the story of my dilemma yesterday, the way i wrote that is the way i used to write (pen and paper) letters to my friends. i gave up writing letters tho because i suppose no one ever had time to write me back. i do miss it and maybe one day i'll find an old fashioned letter-writer to correspond with. Until then i may end up telling you more stories of that style.

I used to write letters too; a cousin and a friend from school. They wrote, I wrote, we all wrote, and over time it got to be work. So we all stopped. Now we do email sometimes. You put together a most cool image again Rabbit; and the narrative to go with it is good reading. Thanks!

I use to write you back...so I'm not sure where you're going with that corresponding bit. Hmph. Rude.
I see Pinky's Pinky toe...cool Shot Pinks. Is that a scar near your ankle or did someone burn you there also? Geez. I'm enjoying the texture of the rocks and brrrick wall. Cool and the flowy-ness of your skirt is a cool contrast to the more solid pieces. Nice.

@cabbagehead: Ha ha the BURN - That is a scar near my ankle - yes. No it is not a burn. It was from where i pierced my ankle eventually the piercing surfaced and just came out. It didn't hurt at all. I would do it again but i think i need to do a bigger gage so it is more likely to stay.
That is pretty :) I love that wall! I've noticed you have few pictures beside it, looking forward for more :)

Very cool! I like the distortions from the curving backing plate and it is obvious that you have figured out how the exposure.

Very nice composition. I like the contrast
Well, who doesn't love shoes! Very nice pinhole pic. I love what happened at the bottom of the photo....looks like you're standing on a walls edge that is crumbling out beneath your feet.

@Candace: Love what you said and this may get re-titled because of it. Oh it does look like the earth is just crumbling away.
Nice feet and beautiful image considering the low tech nature of it

This is wonderful Rabbit.....you know I love the pinholes! I had no idea you were exposing onto paper direct...great results...damn clever! You need to talk me through this pierced ankle business! Back on Tuesday...seems sooooo long

Awesome picture. Now I'll have to research pinhole cameras on google, since I'm not sure exactly what they are. Fabulous contrast (something I'm often having to fix on my photos). I actually like the warping in the rocks, and I love the angle on your feet.

Great graphic work! (How to work by sitting still:)). Says to endure and not to give up. The bricks symbolise strength, the feet symbolise "feet on the ground" and tell you not hoover too much!

Neat!
