Have Another Dirty Martini

Posted by Rabbit (Richmond, United States) on 6 November 2007 in Food & Cuisine.

flipping through a magazine of house things i'm displeased with what is offered to put in ones home. i look about the place i dwell and try to spy any such thing you would see in a magazine. So far i spy not a thing. Don't get me wrong... i understand the need to decorate and make things pretty and fashionable in ones home. I also understand not everyone has hand made a trillion things as i have. However i guess i'm disappointed in the lack of imagination anymore. Here we are spending money on these things in the magazines so that we can look as cool or cooler than our neighbors.

What ever happend to just - oh i dont' know going to a thrift store and getting a mix or match of things to decorate with at a fraction of the cost - not to mention you are recycling what some people just throw away and get new the next year. It just seemed a bit wasteful as i was looking through - thats all i'm ranting on about.

It could be the dirty martini talking. Now onto soemthing different the photo. This is my martini glass holding of course the dirty martini i speak of. I must bid thee farewell for this one is off to live with its new owner. May many drinks be shared and laughs be heard.

<raising a glass> cheers,
