When my friend Cabbagehead first said infiread film to me - the photo like the one above was what i was imagining. She then when on to explain what that kind of film did and well - its nothing like the photo above except maybe both photos run the same cool factor. So the title of this picture may be a bit odd.. however let me explain. Of course most of you guys are familiar with Little Wings - thats my darling little Angle pinhole camera sitting toward the back, right of the photo. The Hamilton Stop comes from the photo being developed in the tray there. Thats what the title of that pinhole shot will be.
i looked for my spooky Halloween stuff but i gave up - - i had to much freelance & other things to worry about. Such as the GREAT big POT of baby Lima beans i have on the stove. Speaking of which <getting up in a quick hurry to go look at the stove and stir my concoction> ok it seems to be fine - its taking a while to come to a rolling boil but thats ok. i'll try & be patient (ya know come to think of it - i have patience with nearly EVERYTHING else except cooking) huh that quite odd. Anyway as i was saying i'm making lima bean soup, i even made a johnnycake to go with it. Thats what it's called when you make corn bread in one big baking pan instead of corn bread muffins.
So is anyone wondering what i did to this photo? Great - me too - let me know when you figure it out. Ok i'm kidding i have the directions for ya.
Treatment Directions Change photo to grayscale then change to Duotone 1st color is Black 2nd color is Pantone DS 77-1 C" (or a different FINE color of your choice) Double click on curves box (that the box left of the color you just chose) Then add these points to your Curve: transfer point list transfer point Value: 0 Response:20 transfer point Value: 10 Response: 18.8 transfer Point Value: 20 Response:23.1 transfer point Value: 30 Response: 94.4 transfer point Value: 40 Response: 54.4 transfer point Value: 80 Response: 82.5
And pizazz you have a photo that looks like it was what was stuck in MY imagination.
Oh what a day, rabbit

Wow... again I am honored to be mentioned on your blog. Soooo COOL! I'm going to assume Hamilton Stop has to do with one of your friends. I vaguely remember you mentioning one of your friends with the name Hamilton.

@Cabbagehead: Very true - i do have a dear friend named Hamilton however this picture is not titled that because of him. Its titled that because when you do see this pinhole show up one friday - - or some other random day as [terrorkitten] would have it. In the picture the name of the road is Hamilton and a stop sign underneath it.
i love this image... nice processing as well. you're right; i think with a little digital trickery we can get to where we want to be-- matching our photos to our inner eyes. i still have trouble with that; when i look at a particular scene, i will just gauge how i feel about it and decide: i can do it, or i can't. i always forget about the photoshop option... anyhow, lovely capture!

Some pictures of yours are really ART. This is one of them, so beautiful - it fascinates and every time you see other aspects, it never bores - characteristics of art. I agree fully with Rebecca.

That is a really cool image... and an even cooler pp treatment. You never cease to amaze me.
