Well - i'll let you know my dentist visit was an A not quite an A+ but that was my fault. i ran out of my favorite floss & couldn't use the non-waxed string floss (it's like nails on a chalk board when i use it UGH) So i stopped flossing my teeth for bout a month - thats how long it took me to actually get to the store & get some dag on floss. So i had a bit of icky mess on me teeth. Not bad tho. I had NO Cavities ;D so i get A+ for that i suppose.
This is another lovely pinhole shot - - - - o thats right because i just remembered its Pinhole Friday said with a smile from super clean teeth. This is the shot i was taking of the courthouse when i had the lovely lady giving me dirty looks b/c she couldn't figure out what i was doing. From looking at this shot, i would say a mental note to myself - when there is more WHITE in the picture (such as all the stone & the building and sky was pretty light colored) i should cut down my exposure time. I suppose i should have used the rule you use for shooting on sand or snow. It just didn't hit me for this one, but i'll try to be more aware of that after seeing how BRIGHT this shot is.
always learning, rabbit

A "shining" example of the creative power of the Rabbit!

Your pinhole shots are so full of character! I like the slight tilt and the bend, presumably from the curved back wall of the camera. The building fits the old-time feel of these shots perfectly.

@Martin: Yes the tilt and bend are because the back of the camera is round & since the film sits curved against the wall it creates this interesting warped look.
Excelente captura en b/n. Saludos!

I love the regal and historical feel of this piece. Beautiful, beautiful tones and textures. And I like the brightness, actually. This is definitely an ACE piece, dear lady. Pinhole Fridays are AMAZING!!!
ps : really happy for you at your super clean teeth. :o) pps : re our discussion from yesterday…i don’t actually find your statement offensive, though we probably can’t rule out that someone out there possibly might do….i think perhaps if i said i was "getting on a little in years and not having the perfect concentration i used to have", that might be a euphemism for “getting old and blanking out”? either way, that happening is definitely true of me too. :)

Wonderful to know how the image has slowly grown like an organism. I like the openings in the pavement of life over which the sinner has stumbled, caught up by the servants of law and brought back to the straight path in a courthouse which itself is also a bit leaning, just like juries and judges are also humans with their pros and cons, a whole story about civilisation in a picture... I don't think this can be achieved with a Hasselblad...

@Illuci: Tis a BRILLIANT response to this photo. I like it so much i think i shall have to place these words nearby as a story about this picture.
Awesome photo!
