My cute little pinhole camera sits nearby and watches me develop the photos that were made in its belly. Sounds a bit like a metaphor. As if i thought of my camera as a mother.
My hands are really dry tonight and they feel icky as i type. I'll have to use some of the NEW hand cream i purchased (and i'm not much on the girlie stuff) to hopefully help them regain their moisture. Yeah i suppose i had my chance at wearing makeup in the 3rd grade. First think its the 80's that will explain just a bit why i thought the color combination of Super Blue and Bright Yellow were a great combination to wear as eyeshadow. Heck the 80's is the only time i can even think that bright yellow eyeshadow even exsisted. Well i asked my mom if i could go to school like that and she said sure i don't care. I'm happy that there are no pictures of me in this LOVELY makeup i describle to you guys, nope only memories. I think to myself i wonder why she let me go to school like that? I guess she figured if she let me get it out of my system then i wouldn't be buggin her later about it. Which i must admit, it worked - high school came and i could care less if i did or didn't wear makeup. I did however LOVE to fix my hair in that fashionable POOF in the front... Oh well, you have to appreciate where you came from before you can figure out where you want to go.

Great narrative Rabbit. I couldn't help but smile as you showed a small bit of the consistency of who you are -- from the little third grader in bright blue and bright yellow eye make-up, to the high schooler with the fashionable poof, to the grown up pottery/ceramic-making person who happens to be cool and likes to sport pink hair and take pix with pinhole cameras... consistent patterns within the whole.

OK Rabbit...whilst sat sipping a glass of Ouzo I have been pondering your dry hand problem which I think should have you back with skin as soft as a babies bottom in no time at all! Fill two bags with a good extra virgin olive oil, Greek preferably but Italian would be OK at a push. Lightly warm in the microwave...or sit them in the sun for 30 minutes then get a close friend to tie your hands in each bag securing the tops with Pink ribbon ties! The take yourself to bed....when you wake....release and enjoy the hands of a baby! Voila!...Works for me every time! Nealy forgot..I like the photo as well!

Hmm, I don't really remember the last time I did any darkroom work, it is so long ago. I guess going back to an older model camera means going back to older processing too! Funny story about the 80s makeup.

I'll bet you don't have any rollover minutes. (kidding) Love your entire presentation. I do! Honest.

@Rebel Streetshooter: ha ha - is that because i type alot? Do i type alot <asking my other observers>? Actually I hate and i mean HATE the telephone. i never hardly ever talk on it. So contrary to my lengthly typing i would have saved up enough rollover minutes to supply a high school.
Oh I so remember those days of having a red glow to my skin from the darkroom (used to work as darkroom tech for local newspaper). Miss the smell of fix... REALLY!! This image just evokes great memories for me.. thanks.

@amy: You miss the smell of fix? Well - i can remedy that, i think it smells very similar to vinegar so just go in the kitchen and color some easter eggs or clean the coffee maker.
hey Rabbit--superbly lit capture--that pinhole jobby is a real winner !! your narratives are so unique and totally honest- they make a great read pal--keep on going on !!--billy

I don't see why you wouldn't wear that color combination for makeup at one of your Raves. I think it would fit right in. I'm just say'n. Seeing this photo gets me excited about Pinhole Friday.
