So still they sit there while i expose them for 40 seconds.
As i passed this on my walk i thought humm how cheezy to have plastic deer in your yard. Then it hit me i looked down at my little camera and then thought how adorable they will look through the eye of a pinhole. Since as you can see the pinhole tends to make things look a bit dreamy. I figured these deer may nearly appear real.
Starting off another Pinhole Friday - thank goodness i wasn't counting on the sun coming out yesterday. We had glorious rain the whole day and it made my office SUPER DUPER cold.
Today i hope to put knobs/handles on 3 of my new art pieces in the making ;) Yeah that will be super cool!
Hopeful to play in the clay later today, rabbit

@tyan: Right you are my dear ;) these deer were not real. I felt it would be cool to capture them with the dreamy affect of the pinhole.
yaay! another pinhole, another pinhole! :)

Nice light lights and dark darks here....I guess I should say "nice contrast" geez, I've been working at the PI too long. =0

@Saranoh: Ha ha - yeah, that sounds exactly how an ad-rep would say it.
I love this shot. The cheesy deer make me smile... your neighbors need to cut the grass. Geez. the grass is so tall, the deer almost look like little dogs.

I am impressed with the image quality and atmosphere your pinhole camera produces. Some people spend hours with PS to create shots that look like this :)

Wow!!! This is really a pinhole treat, dear Rabbit!!! We don't get to see many photos like this nowadays at all. Love these 'play deer', dear lady. :) I feel like I'm in a dream, a very wonderful one indeed, with all my favourite things, and the most lovely creatures. Love this one. :)

They're so cute! I can't believe they stayed like that for so long.

This is a different pinhole photo for sure for you. I do like the aged look it gives to the photo. But, I still wouldn't want plastic animals in my yard....weather they are brown deer or even pink flamingos. LOL!
Its the surreal quality of the whole photo that i love - not just the deer but the way you've framed the shot with the house up there at top left and the swathe of empty grass bottom right is brilliant and shows the mark of a natural artist.

I think cheesy deers and your funky pinhole camera are a perfect match,LOL!!!

Great, and I find it very interesting to see pinhole products, isn't a pinhole camera a genuine "camera obscura" showing the miracle that an image is projected upside down without any lens? Wonderful! They say that painters such as Johannes Vermeer used a pinhole camera, they got that typical effect in their paintings so much resembling a pinhole photo, something mysterious.
BTW your name above your comments on my pblog are not highlighted anymore, so I think you have to fill in information again (happened to me, too several times as if the info has dropped from it).
