Me & Kitty's Delight Saturated

Posted by Rabbit (Richmond, United States) on 8 October 2007 in People & Portrait and Portfolio.

The weather for this weekend was partly nice ;) I had many pinhole shots! But i also had many pinhole failures. Some negs got light struck (my fault i didn't put it back in the sleve of my bag properly :-/ but thats ok. I sill have more film and there's always more sunny days ahead or even more LONG indoor exposures.

Today's capture is me and my mug Kitty's Delight - Its a pale pink & brown mug. I have other similar photos i took at the time but i made all of those black & white keeping selective color on the cup. I thought it would be nice to find one more & show off my hair with a fresh DYE JOB! Yeah i tell ya having naturally pink hair - oh oh your not fallin for that huh. ok so its brown, but the pink is just so much more ME.

For this photo i decided to SATURATE it adding a bit of fun. Now even tho the photo is a bit more intense my hair is still pretty close to that color.

Treatment Directions:
Copy photo into 4 Layers.
1st Layer
*i would suggest making this into an action*
Transparancy: Overlay - Opacity: 57%
Gaussian Blur 5.5
*end action*
2nd Layer (same as first) *now just play the action*
3rd Layer (same as first) *now just play the action*
Background Layer (just left it plain)
Next just flatten it and save.

BAM a nice glow with a bit more intense color.

Have a great day you guys,
rabbit
