I'll write more in a couple of hours - when i get back up :)
Cheers, rabbit - - - - - - - - - - Hi, i'm back up and the sun is hazy today. I guess that means i have to leave the shutter open on my pinhole camera longer to expose the film. Yeah, the pinhole - i've got some pictures out of it and its fantastic. I guess i'm just as amazed as anyone else would be over this ceramic thing.
Enough of that tho, i mean i know you guys aren't really interested in storys about my pinhole camera <grinning> Lets see todays post is a cute little spring box titled Key Bowl. As i was finishing up this container there was a comedian on and she was talking about how shes a bit unorganized and how her husband tries to help her out with that. He came up with the Key Bowl so that she would have a place to put her keys when she got home. He would say "Now all you have to do is put your keys - IN the KEY BOWL"... she would pause then imitate her husband again "Keys in THE KEY BOWL" well i started crackin up and thought thats a pretty cute name and i can even draw an old fashioned hey hole on it. ~25
This has been glazed in Celedon, which i used to NOT appreciate (that is grammatically screwed up but in my brain i'm not sure how to fix that sentence) I like the color now i realize its really not as pale as i remembered it. Its a very neutral color a bit gray looking i suppose. Its a hard color for me to describe and usually i'm pretty good at my color descriptions. i know its sorta a sand color like when the water has washed over the shore and the sand looks a bit darker.
Oh yeah - i'm all late telling you guys this... but i decided i'd put this one in the Spot the Pot Shop!
Take Care, rabbit

We actually use something similar --I personally have a "duck box" --a box for keys, wallet, change, with the figure of a duck on it. I like the keyhole symbol on this.

I love the design of this pot. The curves are wonderful!

I think sandy colour is right! It looks like a beautiful combination of sandy greys and browns to me! Really lovely tones, curves and waves. This one reminds me of the seaside, and I can imagine peering through the ‘keyhole’ at those inviting shores!! Another fantastic creation, dear lady! :)

@Rebecca: i love the mental image you gave me when you speak of looking in the key hole to see the seaside. It gave me great ideas for new ceramic pieces.
The sand colour has a very zen feel to it, I like it!

This is a clever and amusing idea for a decoration. And I am not just saying it because I drank the entire martini myself :)

I like the color and the smooth work of it. Great close up and the top of it reminds of a day on the ocean...kinda wavy!

What a beautiful pot! I really like the waves up top. You're so talented!

I have a pot on my garden table in kind of the same color (not exactly Celedon I'm afraid but it looks like it), and I like it very much, it looks very "natural". I'll post a picture one of these days, then you can see by yourself. It's really worthwhile. I like the monogram-like inscription in your piece.
