Hy-Top tea is the best generic tea - actually the best plain tea i've ever come across. I have no idea if i can find it in the stores anymore but i managed to find a small stash at my parents place :D I threw the tea bag into a mug i made for my mom i believe this one is titled - Kish Kash, forgive me if i'm wrong, i did look but i think my brain was making room for worry about my mom instead of trying to remember the title as you read on.
This image was shot on Monday night on my moms stove with her tea kettle that i remember so well. I was there that night because the next day she was going for an operation and i wanted to be with her. Well it was going on 12 at night and we had to be at the hospital at freakin 5:30 am. I'm not opposed to getting up early, but not really for something so ummmm serious. So it was a bit harder to get to sleep. Let alone not being the place where i usually sleep.
I got up and made a cup of tea... i changed the tone of the photo a bit to match more of what i was feeling which was a little blue. The operation by the Dr. words went fine. My mum would beg to differ she stated it hurts so bad and that she NEVER wants to have another operation again. (Shes had several in the past) but i guess this one really did a number.
Shes ok - just so you guys aren't tooo worried for me. Recovery is slower than what it should be for some reason, but at least shes trying.
I'm visiting her at the hospital this weekend, i'll take my pinhole camera, which i took earlier in the week when i went up to see her & ALL the NURSES thought that was the neatest thing they ever saw <blush> So maybe i can get an interesting shot or two when i get chased out of the room b/c the nurses have to take care of me mom.
