Me caught in a web

Ok - so who slept in and didn't post a photo on time? Humm <hand under chin in that classic pondering motion> Alright you guessed it - its was ME.

Its the 2nd day of Dimitroio's self portraits project - Hi to all of you out there!

I GIVE my Am3 FAMILY a big thank you for all your so sweet and kind comments :D. I will tell you i appreciate all feed back even when my photos are being critiqued. i think it helps me to think about how to improve and watch for something i may not have noticed or thought of the next time i take a photo.

I nearly forgot i made this frame to this mirror along time ago. This was a piece of clay i rolled out then cut out in a funky style. Then i carved out a spider web onto it. I really love carving spider webs on to a lot of my work.

The treatment of the photo is sorta like what sepia would look like except the obvious difference is - the PINK. No pink is not my favorite color, but for some reason i'm drawn to it in photos and just a warm cozy color in general. My favorite color is green, but its not that attractive of a color to do as a duo tone on people.
