This is the center of one of my bowls titled All Your Bass (bass as in music term) While this is not the real colors - sorry to fake you out like that. I was just playing around with the processing.
Treatment Directions: I copied my layer created a gradient map then changed the transparency to Difference
It created a chocolate and blue with white that i liked and decided i'll keep it. What the heck, Why not.
Besides tomarrow is going to be something to do with my pinhole :D yeah - maybe i should make my Fridays - Pinhole Fridays? It sounds better than Pinhole Thursdays. <giggle> I'll think about it. I could only hope i have enough images from and/or about my pinhole to make such a celebrated day of the week - EVERY week.
Now it looks as if i may have to combine Pinhole Fridays with a self-portrait... ;-) should be interesting!
============================= Just to remind us all again about this Friday/Saturday....Forwarding again this message from Dimitrios' site :
Dear friends in the am3 world. I would like to propose the publication of a couple of self portraits for Friday 28th and Saturday 29th of September. It can be anything you like, mirror images which is the easiest, reflection on a spoon! Ha-ha-ha, or even sketches of yourselves. It will be great to see each other and to meet the talented photographers from all around the globe. I have the greatest respect for the people that want but cannot due to cultural or religious reasons publish their image on the web. For these am3-friends that want to participate, I kindly ask them to publish instead a picture of a place in their home town that they are proud of. - Please feel free to copy this text with your daily pictures so we have a great participation. - I am looking forward in meeting you on 28th and 29th September, see ya soon. Kind regards Dimitrios.

Very cool effect the layering created. What is the actual color of the bowl?

@e.: Actual color is ...starting at the top left and going clockwise- is colonial blue, then next triangle it turns sorta greyish blue, next triangle is yellow, the next white triangel that looks white - is actually dark blue.
Very creative. I vote for pinhole Fridays to made a public holiday!
