I thought it would be nice to get even more intimate detail of me signing my work. This is one of the Japanese cups from a couple of days ago. I was told by my sweet photo girl miu* that these are called "YUNOMI" She explains that YU means hot water. NOMI means drink. She said the sound is as same as"You know me."in English! (Thank You miu*)

I like the lighting that infuses everything with a warm glow without revealing too much detail of the signing process.

Indeed it is very nice to zoom in to your actions so closely, bringing the audience to focus on the exact action carried out. Great DOF once again... superb!

This is really breathtaking, the beauty of a millenia-old craft performed with skill and never-weaking attention. Also of Japanese character.

However you managed to sign & shoot at the same time, it couldn't be better. As others stated, the natural light, and point of view is beautiful. But also, the dof if perfection. Stunning shot, keep it up.

@Dang: Automatic timer... thank goodness it takes 3 shots at a time. (sometimes i set it to bracket as well) So usually the First shot looks posed - then i relax and start to move so 2nd shot is blurry and then the 3rd shot is correct b/c i remember to pause just a bit as i wait to hear the camera snap.
Well done.
