i just finished trimming (taking the excess clay off the bottoms) of these Japanese cups. The one i'm holding is named Odd. It has a match and well if you couldn't guess its name is Even ;) Then there was Dimple this was the only one of that. Then one more set named This Tuesday and Next Sunday.
I laughed out loud when i thought of the names Odd and Even. The reason for that name was because i had made the tops of those 2 cups into an oval. Which i thought was sorta odd... thats when the laugh jumped out of me.

LOve the dreamy effect the photo have... But feel bit weird to have the head missing when most of the your whole body is in. maybe can crop it lower to have the hands only...
Nice names, Odd and Even, so one cup used on odd days and the even used on even days? :P

@Anthony: you know i think i shall take your advice and repost a better cropped one - it IS feeling a bit headless horseman ish... ha ha
well done miss rabbit ..... I have been called ODD before and then I try and get EVEN ...... LAME , I know .... awesome picture ..it's super cool to see you work.... maybe you can inspire Candace to show us what she looks like while she is working on her jewelry :)

Hi,Rabbit! So cute cups! We Japanese call these cups"YUNOMI". YU means hot water. NOMI means drink. The sound is as same as"You know me."in English!
Odd and Even are so lovely! Now I want to have a cup of green tea!

@miu*: Thank you for telling me what they are called - Thats GREAT! I was asked by a sweet lady to make some of these style tea cups for her. I hope she likes them.
Oooooo....dear Rabbit, i must agree with miu, these are sooo cuuuute!! (both the lovely-shaped cups and the names! :) ) Once again I truly love the depth of field here....i must say, you are truly magnificent with DOF!! :) And the warm earthy colours here are simply wonderful!...AND you have such beautiful hands!! seriously. :)
